Welcome to Install Mavens! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (installmavens.com) and the services we provide.

2. Services Provided
- Install Mavens specializes in aging-in-place modifications and ADA-compliant installations. We book appointments directly with customers and subcontract work to licensed and insured contractors.

3. Appointment Booking
- When you book an appointment with us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at our discretion.

3. 1 Field Service Appointment and Scheduling Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply specifically to field service appointments and scheduling provided by Install Mavens. By booking an appointment, the client agrees to these terms.

3.2 Appointment Scheduling

Clients can schedule appointments via phone, email, or online through our website.

Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by Install Mavens.

Clients will receive a confirmation email or call with appointment details.

3.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee.

3.4 Service Fees and Payment

Transparent pricing is provided for all services, including grab bar installations.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, checks, and online payments.

3.5 Subcontractor Engagement

Install Mavens may engage licensed and insured subcontractors for certain installations and modifications.

Subcontractors are vetted and comply with all safety and quality standards.

3.6 Liability and Warranty

Install Mavens is not liable for any damage caused by the client’s negligence or misuse of installed products.

A warranty is provided for installations, covering defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period.

3.7 Customer Responsibilities

Clients must ensure access to the premises for the scheduled appointment.

Any special requirements or existing conditions should be communicated prior to the appointment.

3.8 Privacy and Data Protection

Install Mavens respects client privacy and will handle personal data in accordance with applicable laws.

3.9 Amendments
Install Mavens reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary. Clients will be notified of any changes.

4. Payment Terms
- Payment for services rendered will be discussed and confirmed during the appointment booking process. All payments are due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Install Mavens guarantees a professional standard of service. However, we do not warrant specific results from our services. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we always strive for excellence.

6. Limitation of Liability
- Install Mavens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

7. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and hold Install Mavens, its contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of our services.

8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.



10. SMS Communications
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Install Mavens related to your service requests, appointments, updates, and promotional offers. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

11. Porcelain Tile Installation Policy

Due to the high risk of damage and the specialized equipment required, Install Mavens does not perform grab bar or wall installations that involve drilling through porcelain tile. Porcelain is extremely hard and brittle, making safe installation difficult and increasing the risk of breakage or costly repairs. For the safety of your home and our team, we recommend considering alternative installation locations or surfaces.


Refund and Cancellation Policy

Booking and Deposits

  • All Installations and aging-in-place projects over $500 require a non-refundable deposit of 25–50% of the total cost at the time of booking. This deposit secures your project date and covers administrative and scheduling costs.

Cancellations Before Project Start

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or written notice).

  • If you cancel more than 72 hours before the scheduled project start, you may be eligible for a refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit, as well as any unrecoverable costs (e.g., special-order materials).

  • Cancellations received within 72 hours of the scheduled project start may result in forfeiture of additional payments to cover subcontractor scheduling and administrative costs.

Cancellations After Project Start

  • No refunds are issued once work has begun or materials have been purchased specifically for your project.

  • If a project is cancelled after work starts, you are responsible for all costs incurred, including labor, materials, and subcontractor payments.

Subcontractor Payment Obligations

  • Install Mavens is obligated to pay subcontractors for scheduled or completed work, regardless of client cancellation.

  • Any client cancellation after subcontractor scheduling may result in additional charges to cover these obligations.

Exceptions

  • Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of Install Mavens in cases of documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
